Credit360

Turning ambiguity into a shared product model.

I led end-to-end design for a greenfield commercial lending platform, turning fragmented requirements into shared workflows and product decisions the team could build from.

01 • the Case at a glance

The bank needed a unified lending platform.
The team first needed a shared definition of the product.

Business context

Digitize end-to-end commercial lending

Design challenge

Critical context surfaced late

e.g. 1 segment → 3 segments

my approach

Create a shared model for decisions

02 • Why the product kept changing

Critical context surfaced after design decisions had already been made.

Product knowledge was distributed across stakeholders rather than captured in one reliable definition.

Fragmented knowledge

Context lived across organizations and stakeholders

Incomplete definition

Late requirement changes

Previously designed and handed-off work needed to be reconsidered.

03 • creating stable ground for the team

I built the shared structure the product team was missing.

I consolidated changing inputs into artifacts the team could use to clarify, decide, and build across Credit360.

This shared foundation became the basis for decisions across the platform.

04 • Selected Product decisions

Three decisions turned ambiguity into a coherent workflow.

Decision 01 • Establish Context

Create a unified starting point

Design Response: Preserve selected client context throughout the journey

I brought fragmented client information into one coherent overview so users could begin with shared relationship context.

Decision 02 • Adaptive workflow

Let the loan type determine the path

Design Response: Let request and loan type configure the workflow

I designed one workflow that adapts to different lending processes by activating relevant steps and bypassing those that did not apply.

Decision 03 • Support flexible review

Design a modular workspace that adapts

Design Response: Separate shared structure from segment-specific review

I designed a modular One Memo that supports three segments and evolving review needs without fragmenting the experience.

05 • impacts

Clearer product understanding became the immediate impact.

05 • Reflection

Reducing ambiguity was not preparation for the design work.

It was the design work.

Credit360 reinforced that enterprise design leadership is often about making incomplete assumptions visible, defining durable product rules, and giving a team enough structure to move forward as the product changes.
